5 Gingerbread Recipes That Rock

Yeah, I know it’s early, not even Halloween yet. But I’m always behind, and I wanted to be ahead for a change. So I’m offering 5 gingerbread recipes that rock.

These are recipes I’ve looked up and tried. I love a good gingerbread cookie, but there’s so much more. Even gingerbread lattes! Right!? Yummy.

Gingerbread Cookies

First we have Gingerbread Cookies from  Genius Kitchen (recipe)

Delicious and fun to make. You can head to the dollar stores to get cookie cutters if you don’t have any, or Wilton makes an adorable set you can get here.

Don’t eat all of the dough while you’re making the cutouts. Let me know what you think of this recipe. I loved it.

Gingerbread Loaf

This gingerbread loaf comes to us via Taste of Lizzy T (recipe)

I actually enjoyed making this more than making the cookies. Why? Because it’s much less time consuming. The cookies are are delicious, don’t get me wrong, and they are great for kids and company. But if you want something for just you and your special friends, this loaf is decadent. And easy to make with no mess (like cookies).

I actually bought a new set of loaf pans, so I could make several at a time, and give to friends. Amazon has a great set here.

This makes a great holiday hostess gift too.

Gingerbread Latte

Forget pumpkin spice lattes! Tis the season for gingerbread lattes. This recipe is a version of the coffeehouse latte. It even includes making your own gingerbread syrup. And it is beyond your homemade imagination delicious.

I have an espresso machine, so I make a mean latte anyway (if I do say so myself).

This will be a treat you’ll want any time of day. Get the recipe here.

Gingerbread Cake

Oh la la, this is a moist and sense tingling piece of cake. I made mine with a buttercream icing to dollop on top. Sweetness on top of sweetness. Once Upon A Chef shared this delicious recipe. Gingerbread cake from scratch is a task worthy of the treat you get when it’s done. Get the recipe here.

Gingerbread Cheesecake

I may have saved the best for last. Martha Stewart’s recipe for gingerbread cheesecake. Melt in your mouth, baby. A sinful treat, Martha Stewart style. The recipe is just what you’d expect from Martha, and you can get it here.

Again, I know I’ve posted this before Halloween, but you never know when someone is going to come across the recipes. I hope these were tasty enough for you to try. Other than the latte, I can say I’m a cheesecake crazy woman, so I loved it. But for a sweet treat I can make more often, I swear by the gingerbread loaf. If you make it for friends and family, they will want the recipe too.
